The Massage Company Review

27/09/2021

[AD – PR Treatment] A massage has always been a real treat to me and since they’re not exactly the cheapest of activities, it’s important that the whole experience is worth it. I was invited down to The Massage Company in Tunbridge Wells a couple of weeks ago for a treatment and thought I’d share a little review on how it went.

Something I liked about The Massage Company before I’d even stepped through its doors was its location and accessibility. It’s positioned right in the centre of Tunbridge Wells so no matter whether you’re driving, getting the train or hopping on the bus, it’s easy to get to.

I was welcomed by a smiley, friendly receptionist and spent a few minutes completing a form so the massage therapist would know the areas to work on/avoid, allergies, medical conditions, etc. To be honest, I was quite happy just sat in their reception area which felt so calming with its minimalistic aesthetic, relaxing music and essential oil diffuser. You definitely get that feeling of calmness from the start of your experience.

They offer a few different treatments including deep tissue, Swedish, sports and pregnancy massages and you also have the option of upgrades too which include hot stones, aromatherapy, scalp massages and foot treatments. I opted for a deep tissue massage and foot treatment which I can 10/10 recommend (and that’s coming from the ultimate wimp).

My massage therapist, Jessie, did an amazing job of making me feel totally relaxed and really listened to what I wanted/needed. She worked on all the areas that felt tense and by the end of the treatment, I felt so zen, it was incredible. I even said to her that my neck felt so loose and that must’ve been because it was so tight beforehand but I hadn’t even realised.

Something I really loved about my experience at The Massage Company which I want to share is that it’s all just straight to the point. You go in, you have a massage, you leave. You don’t need to fanny around choosing beauty products, changing into and out of a fluffy dressing gown or working out which way round those horrible plastic knickers go (you know the ones I’m talking about right?) and as someone who just wants to get shit done, I really like this. Also, being able to stay in your underwear makes you feel so much more comfortable.. Just sayinnnnng!

The Massage Company have centres in Camberley, High Wycombe, Sutton Coldfield and Putney as well as Tunbridge Wells so if I were you, I’d definitely do a quick Google search to see if any of them are close to you. And take a look at their memberships too, they’d make a cracking Christmas present!

Thanks again to the team at The Massage Company for looking after me!

Do you go for massages regularly? Or have you been to The Massage Company before?

I LOVE a massage so this sounds right up my street and I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself x

Me too! I wish I could have one every month haha! x

Oh this sounds delightful! I go for regular massages with a local beauty therapist who I’ve been seeing for years – I’m due one soon because I’m super tense but I just adore massages. This place sounds brilliant – I love the no faff attitude!

Ahh I’m so jealous! I wish I could get them more often, they’re so relaxing!

Oh man do I need a day at the Massage Company or what!? I need a full body right now! I love that there are a few branches near me like High Wycombe. Defo going to look into booking myself in this Autumn!

I do like a massage sometimes as I do get back pain sometimes! The Massage company contacted me and I was gutted I couldn’t take them up on the offer as their centres are too far away from where I live! x

I do love a good massage but I can’t remember the last time I had one, which isn’t so good! I’ll have to see if they have a salon near me – glad you had a good one though ๐Ÿ™‚

Massages are supposed to be really helpful for chronic pain and Fibromyalgia and have been recommended by my pain clinic. This sounds like a great experience. Thank you for sharing as I feel more comfortable about going for a treatment.
