W7 In The Buff Palette

At first sight, this may seem very similar to one of the Naked Palettes but don’t hold your breath. The colours may look all shimmery and pretty but after applying to your lid you’ll discover how unpigmented and wishy washy they really are! A lot of the colours look very similar and once applied, you can’t really tell the difference between them which is a shame considering some of the colours are really pretty.

But don’t worry, it’s not all bad news! The lightest shade, ‘sand’ is the perfect highlighting colour which isn’t too shimmery and sticks to primed skin well. The affordable price does also make this a more suitable products for people just getting into makeup who don’t want to spend a lot on eyeshadows.

I have the W7 in the nude pallet, and I've found with the right brush, I can get them to look a little more pigmented, they just don't stay that way and it is a huge effort! I picked my pallet up for £3 though so I wasn't expecting too high hopes. I've not bothered with this one as the other was just so, mediocre. Great review! 🙂

My first thought when I looked at this palette was that the colours seemed very similar, but it would be lovely as a starter set!
