A Possible New Favourite Eyeliner: Bourjois Liner Feutre Eyeliner

Even though I’ve been loyal to my trusty L’Oreal Superliner for a year or so now, it’s time for a change. I picked the Bourjois Liner Feutre up on a whim and little did I know that it’s actually a favourite drugstore eyeliner for many bloggers.

The nib is like a felt tip pen but isn’t stiff so it doesn’t hurt or drag your eye as you apply the liner. It feels really soft too and even after using it for a few weeks, the nib has kept its strength and shape so I know it’s very good quality.

Depending on what you fancy or what look you’re trying to go for, the liner can produce a thick or thin line. The colour is completely jet black colour which is amazing as I find some eyeliners can look a bit grey or even silvery sometimes! Also, once applied it doesn’t crack or look drying at all!

Annoyingly, the biggest downside to this almost perfect mascara is that it transfers really badly. I’ve found that during the recent hot weather we’ve been having, I would check my makeup to see that I have black rings around my eye sockets. Maybe this could be avoided by setting your eyelids with a translucent powder but I haven’t tried that yet! It’s such a pain and so disappointing as I love everything else about this liner! Saying that, I haven’t found the transferring to be a problem when it’s been cool or raining, so maybe this is just an eyeliner for those wintery days!

All in all, it’s got all the qualities that I think an eyeliner should possess but it’s just the transferring that lets it down! However, I think setting your eyelids would make the world of difference so with that in mind, I’ll definitely give this another go.

Repurchase? Yes.
