Mum’s Loving: ARK Reverse Gravity Eye Cream

I’ve never ventured into the world of eye creams but after seeing the reviews of the ARK Reverse Gravity Eye Cream, I was interested straight away.

It claims to be “a powerful, anti-ageing formula that works to minimise the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles” and “helps to lift, firm and tighten skin around the eyes, including the crease of the eyelid” so as you can imagine I was expecting some pretty amazing results.

After trying it out for a couple of weeks I didn’t see any dramatic difference but I don’t struggle with dark circles, wrinkles or puffiness so I wasn’t expecting much of a change anyway. I did however notice how lovely this product is to use. It feels really luxurious, smells really refreshing and feels soothing on the skin. What more could you want from an eye cream? The formula is almost like a thick cream which absorbs into the skin quickly, making it feel really soft and non-sticky.

So because I couldn’t really put this product to the test I was in need of a guinea pig and after a quick phone call to Mum, I had found one!

What did Mum have to say?

“I really enjoyed using this eye cream, I have noticed a difference in fine lines in that area especially which is something I’ve been trying to combat. It felt really soothing under my eyes and didn’t irritate my skin at all, I think that has something to do with the aloe vera in it. The rollerball is really useful as well but sometimes it did feel like it was dragging the skin a bit. I love the texture of it and how soft and refreshing it feels and I only used it sparingly so hopefully it will last a long time.”

So even though this may not be the best product for someone like me with no dark circles, wrinkles or puffiness, it’s definitely one for more mature women who have problems in those areas. As you can see Mum’s hooked on this now so there’s absolutely no chance I’ll be getting it back!

The ARK Reverse Gravity Eye Cream is available to purchase from Beauty Expert for £48.00.

Sounds like a good but be careful about pressing to hard. If it drags on the skin it's actually stretching it and its not what you want. I always use a pump product myself like Erase & Tone from SKN Complex. You just put a little on your ring finger and gently tap around the eye area until it absorbs.

I’m glad your Mum liked it so much! I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles but I do have terrible dark circles so I’d be interested to see how this would work for me!- x
